What does freedom mean to you? How can you share that feeling with others? We invite you to join us at CKE on May 5 for a creative and community-building afternoon. Come to Café C to make a beautiful card. The materials are all set up! Keep it for yourself, or add a personal message and send it out into the world as a gesture of care, hope, and connection.
In addition to making cards, there are other ways to celebrate May 5: write a short thought, wish, or message and hang it on our growing freedom tree. Or make a colorful pompom to decorate the tree!
Finally, you can also share freedom at the table. Pull up a chair and enjoy a warming bowl of freedom soup. A lovely way to celebrate freedom together!
