Stories that stick
During this workshop, we’re delving into the art of true storytelling. You’ll choose a theme and work step by step to deliver a short story in a powerful and captivating way. Discover how structure, voice, and attitude help to engage your audience. You can try out different forms, from classic storytelling to surprising ways of sharing a story. This will strengthen the qualities you already have and help you discover new ways to bring a story to life!
Choose from the following evenings:
- Wednesday, April 1 (19:00 – 20:30): Theme Family
- Wednesday, April 8 (19:00 – 20:30): Theme Found or Lost
- Wednesday, April 15 (19:00 – 20:30): Theme Secret
After a practice evening, you will join all the other participants on Wednesday, April 22, for an atmospheric storytelling evening at Café C.
Good to know:
- Workshops are in Dutch.
- Suitable for participants aged 16 and older.
- Bring your enthusiasm and stories with you.
Collaboration with Boaz van Rooij
This program is a co-creation with our own teacher Boaz van Rooij. Boaz works as a theater teacher and creator and is always looking for the best form for a story. His work varies from performances to installations and audio formats. Within CKE, Boaz translates inspiration from the environment into surprising working methods. He developed the concept for this workshop and supervises the evenings.
