Kick-off: DARK Halloween festival Eindhoven
Would you like to join DARK? During the kick-off, participants will get to know the project, the creators, and each other. It’s the perfect start to a spooky and creative adventure.
Monthly sketch café
Artists of all levels gather monthly, alternating between Thursdays and Saturdays, at Café C to sketch, learn, and meet each other.
TROMP Percussion: workshop day with Lucas van Merwijk
Spend a day with Lucas van Merwijk, one of Europe’s leading drummers, and round off the day with a parade through the heart of Eindhoven during the festive opening of TROMP Percussion.
TROMP International Percussion Competition Round 1: Here I Am
Round 1 of the TROMP International Percussion Competition centres on identity, creativity and individuality. Spread across three halls at CKE, you’ll discover ten different musical worlds, with each percussionist telling their very own story.

Welcome to De Opening! The national kick-off of the cultural season. Every year, De Opening takes place in a different city. This year, Eindhoven has the honor of hosting this opening weekend. During De Opening, CKE serves as a meeting place for makers and the public for three days.
A weekend full of fun workshops, enjoying exhibitions and performances, and a dance battle in the tunnel around the corner. There is always something to see, do, and experience. You decide where you want to join in. Come on in and let yourself be surprised.
