With an open stage, everyone has the chance to tell a story, try something out or share something in an accessible and welcoming environment.

Natemah Storytelling is an open-mic storytelling evening, founded in Eindhoven by Venkatesh, Mwanton and Praise. The evening brings together storytellers, comedians, musicians, poets and curious visitors around one central idea: sharing stories and listening to one another.
Each edition consists of two parts with a short interval and features 7 to 8 performers. They share personal stories, comedy, music, poetry or other forms of live storytelling. Experienced performers share the stage with people who are stepping onto a stage for the first time and want to try out their story. There is also an open mic. Visitors can spontaneously take to the stage to share a story, song or poem. For participants who want to perform but are still unsure about their story, Natemah offers free feedback and guidance in advance.
Natemah grew out of the founders’ experience at Lighttown Speakers, a Toastmasters community in Eindhoven. There, they discovered just how much trust, connection and creativity can arise when people share their stories.
The evening is conducted in English and welcomes people from diverse cultural backgrounds. The aim is to create a safe, respectful space where people can experiment, make their voices heard and meet one another.

During this free storytelling workshop, you’ll learn how to draw people into your personal story. Discover techniques such as sensory storytelling and adding emotion and dynamics to spark your audience’s imagination. This workshop consists of two parts: you’ll present your story during the storytelling evening on October 9.
