Discover the power of photography

During this workshop, you will work with photographer Esther Maaskant (19 years) to explore the basics of photography. You will practise using light, composition and visual storytelling. Esther will show you how to make emotion and identity visible in your own work. You will carry out assignments, take photos in different ways and go home with images you can be proud of. This workshop is specially designed for young people who enjoy being creative and want to experiment with photography.

This workshop is during of our Bruisweekend, so come early and discover much more at CKE. Immerse yourself in music, theatre, concerts, and performances, or take part in other workshops.

Collaboration with Esther Maaskant

The workshop has been developed in collaboration with photographer Esther Maaskant. Esther is 19 and is in the final months of her photography studies at SintLucas in Eindhoven. She works as an all-round photographer with a strong interest in fashion and events. For this programme, Esther shares her knowledge and experience with young people who want to learn more about photography. CKE is the commissioning party and supports Esther in shaping the workshop within the youth programme.
