Following two successful editions, we are once again joining forces with the Kunstival Foundation for an evening filled with swing, socializing, and musical spontaneity.
The opening set will be performed by Tijn Trommelen’s band, featuring special guest Stan van de Wetering. With his charming voice and refined guitar playing, Trommelen offers fresh interpretations of the Great American Songbook, infused with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. Van de Wetering adds his expressive and deeply rooted saxophone playing, in which tradition and adventure come together seamlessly. Together with a strong rhythm section of guitar, double bass, and drums, this promises to be an inspiring and swinging opening.
After this set, we’ll open the floor for a jam session, led by guitarist Richie Reichgelt. An invitation to all jazz musicians to make music together. Whether you come to listen or play along, expect a relaxed and energetic evening centered on connection and improvisation.
Come by, let yourself be carried away, and experience the magic of live jazz.
