Create your own light art
In this workshop you will playfully discover all the things you can do with light. You will work with light as though it were a material, learning how to change colour and atmosphere using simple materials such as paper, plastic and reflective surfaces. No technical knowledge is needed: curiosity and a willingness to experiment are all it takes.
After a short demonstration you will get started yourself. You will set the light, try out different materials and see instantly what happens. In the 2nd part we will work together on a large installation in which all the experiments come together. This will create a collective light artwork that is constantly in motion.

Collaboration with 3Beam
We are creating this workshop in co‑creation with 3Beam. In early 2025 their glowing flowers lit up our shop window. They have now returned to CKE because they bring art and technology to life in an accessible way. In this workshop you will discover the world of light technology, with plenty of space to experiment and let your imagination grow.
