Remuneration and salary

We remunerate our staff in accordance with the CAO Kunsteducatie (Collective Labour Agreement for Arts Education). This agreement is concluded by the sector organisation Cultuurconnectie (for cultural education, amateur arts and adult education) together with the employee organisations AVV, Kunstenbond and NTB.

The remuneration of our Director complies with the guidelines set out in the Remuneration Framework for Director-Executives in Arts Education issued by Cultuurconnectie and remains below the Balkenende standard, the statutory Dutch remuneration cap for senior executives in the public and semi-public sector.

Quality mark

Since 7 July 2021, CKE has held the official quality certificate issued by the Certificeringsorganisatie Bibliotheekwerk, Cultuur en Taal (CBCT). This confirms that we meet key quality standards applicable to library and cultural organisations.
