Trial Lesson
Not sure if a course is really right for you? Try a trial lesson for any course that lasts at least 8 weeks. For longer courses, you can join an introductory workshop. Both are a fun way to get a taste of what’s to come!
Trial lesson for courses of 8 weeks or more:
- You can take a trial lesson for any course lasting 8 weeks or longer (but not for workshops).
- Temporarily (until October 2025*), you can also take a trial lesson for courses of 16 sessions or more.
- The first lesson of the course counts as the trial lesson.
- The cost is €5 per participant.
- You may take a maximum of 1 trial lesson per 8-week block.
- A trial lesson is only possible if the course actually goes ahead; this does not apply to duo lessons.
- If the course has already reached the maximum number of participants, the trial lesson may not take place as it won’t be possible to join. In that case, you can attend a trial lesson at the start of the next period.
* In October we will review the trial lesson policy for courses of 16 sessions or more.
Trial lesson for duo lessons:
Our music duo lessons always start with a free trial lesson. During this session, you can see if you enjoy it, while the teacher assesses your level. After the introduction, the teacher will decide who you will be paired with for the duo and will discuss the course day and time with you.
