Drawing & Painting course: Landscapes and Animals
This advanced course is for you if you have previously drawn or painted and want to further develop your skills using landscapes and animals as inspiration. You will explore materials such as charcoal, pastels, watercolours, ink, acrylic paint, and oil paint, on both paper and canvas. You will learn how to use these techniques to bring perspective, spatial depth, light, shadow, reflection, and texture to life.
The lessons offer varied assignments, inspiration, and space for your own work. You will experiment with style, composition, and visual language. The teacher provides personal guidance, gives feedback, and encourages deeper exploration. Whether you work from observation or imagination, your growth as an artist is central. The atmosphere is positive and stimulating, with plenty of room for creative enjoyment. At the end of the course, you will present your work during the Bruis Weekend.
Good to know:
- Wear an apron and old clothes.
