Explore De Ontdekking (‘The Discovery’): a vibrant weekend full of creativity, connection, and inspiration. During this festive weekend, we’re opening the doors to CKE and inviting you to experience all that’s possible.
Whether you’re curious about a new creative hobby, want to delve deeper into a discipline, or just feel like an inspiring day out—this is the perfect time to experience CKE in all its forms and colors!
What to expect?
During De Ontdekking, the entire building transforms into one big discovery zone. Among other things, you can:
- Get an accessible introduction to our course offerings for 2026–2027
- Participate in all kinds of workshops
- Meet instructors and ask all your questions
- Enjoy performances, presentations, and live acts
- View students’ work in exhibitions
- Soak up the atmosphere and let yourself be surprised by everything that’s happening

Fancy crocheting, knitting or embroidering together? Bring your project along and join us for a cosy evening with a drink and great conversations.

Draadkracht XL
Draadkracht XL is a day filled with textiles, technology, and tradition. Discover centuries-old crafts, learn new techniques, and meet creators who approach textiles from different cultures and perspectives. Take a workshop, listen to inspiring stories, or join the collaborative quilt project. A day for curious creators of all skill levels.
Kick-off: DARK Halloween festival Eindhoven
