Taking the Next Step in Orchestra Playing – De Toenagers
The orchestra De Toenagers has existed for more than 35 years and is made up of a group of musical adults who enjoy playing together. During rehearsals, you learn ensemble playing, listening to each other, and performing in various styles. It’s educational, enriching, and lots of fun. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, everyone learns a great deal.
After a brief warm-up, we rehearse in detail until the break. During the break, there’s time for a coffee and a chat—an opportunity to get to know your fellow musicians better. After the break, we pick up the music again, playing through and polishing pieces. We work on at least three different pieces per rehearsal.
If you have a reasonable to good command of your instrument and can prepare your part independently, consider becoming a Toenager! Under the guidance of an experienced teacher and alongside other musicians, you’ll experience the joy of making music at a high level. The group atmosphere is pleasant: we work hard but have plenty of fun playing together.

Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
