Big band jazz improvisation course for adults
Ready to take the next step in your big band journey? In this course, you’ll dive deeper into jazz, focusing on improvisation, theory, and ensemble playing. You’ll start with technical exercises and work on new and existing repertoire. Together, you’ll explore scales, patterns, and creative approaches. Each lesson brings fresh musical insights.
The teacher—a professional jazz musician—shares experience and helps you grow. You’ll develop your musicianship, timing, and stage presence. This course is designed for advanced musicians eager to deepen their understanding of big band music and connect creatively with others. We’ll work towards a performance at the Bruisweekend. It’s going to be Big!
