Getting Started with the Saxophone – Group Lesson
Would you like to learn to play the saxophone but have no experience? In this group course (60 minutes), you’ll learn the basics step by step. You’ll practise breathing, posture, tone production, and simple notes. We start with an introduction to the instrument and then make music together. The lessons combine technique with musicality: you’ll soon be playing short melodies and learning to listen to yourself and the group. Our teacher creates a relaxed atmosphere that helps you build confidence, offering clear guidance and tips for practising at home. Playing the saxophone is both fun and rewarding — especially when you do it together.
Good to know:
- Each lesson lasts 60 minutes. The course consists of 16 lessons.
- You’ll need your own saxophone and accessories (renting is also possible).

Courses of 8 lessons: Take a trial lesson for €5. Click on ‘Register’ and select ‘I would like to do a trial lesson’.
Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
