Getting Started with Screen Printing
In this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of screen printing. You’ll discover how to think in lines, shapes, and layers, and how to build an image using these elements. Screen printing is a labour-intensive technique with many steps, but that’s what makes it exciting and surprising. You can work from a detailed plan or respond intuitively to what appears beneath your screen. Through various assignments, you’ll gradually master the technique. Throughout the process, we’ll regularly discuss your progress together. The atmosphere is open and exploratory. By the end of this course, you’ll have a solid foundation and be able to continue independently.
If you want to take it further, you can progress to the Screen Printing Studio, where you can refine your skills in a studio setting with the guidance of experienced screen printers.
