Beginner graphic printing course for adults
In this course, you’ll explore various printmaking techniques. You’ll create prints using lino cutting, tetrapak, monoprint, etching, and stencils. You’ll learn about ink, printing materials, and composition. We start from both technique and art, showing that inspiration can come from anywhere. Step by step, you’ll develop graphic images—sometimes figurative, sometimes abstract. The instructor will guide you through the printing process and help you discover your own visual language. This course is for anyone curious about printmaking.
What to expect:
- From October: work with gelatine printing, drypoint, tetrapak etching, and making stamps.
- From January: monoprint, working with stencils, and lino cutting.
- From March: continue with gelatine printing, drypoint, tetrapak etching, and stamp making.
This way, the lessons are varied, and you’ll discover as many techniques as possible.
Good to know:
- Wear old clothes that can get messy.
- Language: Dutch and English
