Still life drawing & painting course for beginners

In this course, you’ll learn the basics of drawing and painting using still lifes. You’ll practice careful observation, measuring, shading, colour mixing, and more. Each lesson you’ll work on assignments with different materials. You’ll experiment, receive guidance, and work towards a small presentation during Bruis. The teacher supports you with expertise and attention. This course is for adults with no prior experience who want to explore visual art.

Good to know:

  • Wear old clothes or an apron during the lessons.
  • Language: Dutch and English.

Take a trial lesson?

Courses of 8 lessons: Take a trial lesson for €5. Click on ‘Register’ and select ‘I would like to do a trial lesson’.

Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
