Getting started with drawing and painting

Drawing and painting course for ages 9–12

In this course, you will receive adventurous assignments that inspire you to tell your own story. For example, you might draw a map, a fantasy animal, or an entire zoo. Or you could create a large drawing with the group of a set table with your favourite dishes. Or design your new bedroom. Sometimes you will draw what you see, like a plant or a model. We also make a brainstorming book, miniature sketches, or work in 3D with recycled materials.

In short, a super-diverse course where you draw in all sorts of ways and with various techniques, and also experiment with other materials such as markers, pastels, paint, or a combination of these.

Good to know:

• Clothing advice: wear clothes that can get messy.
• Language: Dutch and English

Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
