Directing for Adults
Have you always wanted to direct but have no idea where to start? In this course, you’ll gain the basic knowledge and practical tools to begin working confidently as a director. Getting Started with Directing is designed especially for people who have ideas but no prior experience. Under the guidance of a professional theatre tutor, you’ll learn how to build scenes, direct actors, and bring your creative vision to life. You’ll practise and perform scenes together and receive direct feedback.
An inspiring, hands-on course for beginner directors who aren’t afraid to get stuck in, experiment, and learn together on the floor. We translate ideas into practice in a safe and supportive working environment. Are you ready to take the lead? This is your chance!

Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
