Ballet lessons for children aged 9–12
Children aged 9 to 12 will discover the world of classical ballet in this course. We dance to classical music and work on rhythm, expression, and presentation. Lessons start with a warm-up and often end with a short choreography. In a playful and accessible way, children learn basic techniques such as posture, steps, and coordination. There is a strong focus on collaboration and enjoyment, in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. The teacher provides structure while also allowing room for each child to grow at their own pace. As a festive finale, the children will perform during Bruisweekend to showcase what they have learned!
Good to know:
- Ensure your child wears ballet attire or clothing that allows free movement. It is possible to take a trial lesson.

Courses of 8 lessons: Take a trial lesson for €5. Click on ‘Register’ and select ‘I would like to do a trial lesson’.
Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
