Spoken word & writing course for adults
Keen to write, play with language and let your voice be heard? In this course you’ll discover how to use words to shape your thoughts, emotions and stories. Perfect for beginner writers! You’ll learn how to build a strong narrative, how writing can help you express what lives inside you, and how to deliver your text powerfully on stage (spoken word).
Each lesson offers clear explanations, inspiring examples and practical exercises you can get started with straight away. You’ll read your work aloud to the group or to the teacher and receive targeted feedback, helping you develop your own style step by step!
The course consists of:
- 3 lessons: Writing from your core (by Nils);
- 3 lessons: Spoken Word (by Bart);
- 2 lessons: Creative writing (by Lotte).
During the course you’ll work towards a presentation at our Bruisweekend, where all friends and family are welcome! There you’ll perform a short story or poem and show what you’ve learned.
Goed om te weten:
- Bring pen and paper or a laptop.
- Language: Dutch.

Courses of 8 lessons: Take a trial lesson for €5. Click on ‘Register’ and select ‘I would like to do a trial lesson’.
Courses of 16 or 32 lessons: Join an introductory workshop for €15 during Bruisweekenden or De Ontdekking. If you decide to enrol afterwards, you’ll receive a €15 discount.
