Improvising together
During these theater sports evenings, you’ll be improvising to your heart’s content. On the first evening, you’ll practice various theater sports games. You’ll work on teamwork, speed, and creativity. On the second evening, you’ll play these games again, this time in front of an audience. You’ll compete against each other in teams and battle for the win. There is a host and a jury that doesn’t always judge fairly. The audience reacts and participates by throwing flowers or sponges. That makes every scene exciting and surprising. This activity is intended for adults with some experience in acting and improvisation. Expect two energetic, fast-paced, and above all hilarious evenings.
In collaboration with Boaz van Rooij
This program is a co-creation with our own teacher Boaz van Rooij. Boaz works as a theater teacher and creator and is always looking for the best form for a story. His work varies from performances to installations and audio formats. Within CKE, Boaz translates inspiration from the environment into surprising working methods. He developed the concept for this workshop and supervises the evenings.
