Do you have a good story worth telling? In this workshop, you’ll discover how to turn your own experiences into comedy. In a playful and theatrical way, you’ll work with stories from your own life and present short scenes or excerpts to each other.
How can you add more color, sparkle, and impact to a story? And which format suits you best? Maybe you’ll tell your story as a scene, a sketch, a musical performance, an anecdote, or in a style all your own.
This inspiring evening will be led by none other than comedian, pop icon, and feminist Marije Bruinsma. Bring your curiosity and creativity, and get ready for an evening full of humor, experimentation, and surprising insights.

About Marije Bruinsma
Marije Bruinsma is a feminist techno cult leader and self-proclaimed pop icon. With her bold lyrics, gritty beats, and controversial humor, she can best be described as a cross between Charli XCX and Herman van Veen. In 2020, she broke through on TikTok with her music; in 2025, she performed at Lowlands; and in 2026, her new show will premiere at Paradiso.
