Discover the world of watercolour
Get started with watercolour under the guidance of Eindhoven-based artist Niels Egidius. Step by step, you’ll discover the possibilities of watercolour and experiment with layering, light and imagination. Play with colour, water and transparency, and discover how different layers come together to create a surprising image.
Niels will introduce you to his working method and share useful tips and techniques. You’ll then get to work yourself and create your own piece. There’s plenty of scope to experiment, try out new things and discover your own style.
This workshop is for anyone who enjoys drawing or painting and is curious about watercolour. No experience is necessary; you’ll work with the materials provided and discover what emerges as you go along.
About Niels Egidius
This workshop has been developed in collaboration with the Eindhoven-based artist Niels Egidius. Niels is known for his paintings in which you can lose yourself. CKE and Niels have joined forces to create an accessible programme that invites participants to experiment and try something new. Our collaboration has resulted in an inspiring evening where art, socialising and creativity come together.
