Popronde 2026 at CKE! With performances by Marit Nygård and de Medemensen, Post Ella and KUZKO, amongst others, it promises to be an evening full of new music and energy. Here’s a brief introduction to the bands!
Marit Nygård en de Medemensen
With both feet firmly in the mud, Marit Nygård and the Medemensen have plenty of questions and few answers. Their search for a bit of direction translates into catchy folk-pop with clear and honest lyrics about running, getting stuck and the longing for a touch of gentleness. Come and take a seat in the Medemensen’s cargo bike to get lost together, whistling as we go.
Post Ella
Post Ella’s alternative electronic pop explores obsessive control, derealisation and the fear of losing everything. Propelled by blistering beats and feverish synths, the listener is drawn into the band’s unravelling world of experience. Post Ella lets the audience get lost and rot away, but always with their feet stamping on the floor.
Kuzko
Hey, we’re KUZKO, a duo born out of a love for edgy electropop. We blend pop vocals with hard-hitting electronic productions. For fans of Charli XCX, Pinkpantheress & Confidence Man. Expect an energetic, catchy club show. We know it’s going to be hot now that you’re coming💋.
About The Popronde
The Popronde is the Netherlands’ premier travelling music festival. From Saturday 12 September through to Saturday 28 November, the 100 selected acts will tour 40 towns and cities across the whole country. Singer-songwriters, rappers, rockers and producers – the Popronde isn’t limited to any particular music genre, and all concerts are free to attend.

For the first time, TROMP Percussion is organising the TROMP Next Gen Mallet Competition: a new competition for young marimba and vibraphone players aged between 15 and 30.
DARK rehearsal series for actors
Work together with other participants to prepare for the DARK Halloween Festival in Eindhoven. During this series of rehearsals, you’ll develop characters, scenes, and performances that will be part of the festival.
Workshop storytelling
During this free storytelling workshop, you’ll learn how to draw people into your personal story. Discover techniques such as sensory storytelling and adding emotion and dynamics to spark your audience’s imagination. This workshop consists of two parts: you’ll present your story during the storytelling evening on October 9.
