Three days of competition culminate here. Six finalists take to the stage at CKE Eindhoven for the final of the very first TROMP Next Gen Mallet Competition. By the end of the evening, there will be just one winner.
Each finalist is given 20 to 25 minutes and decides for themselves what to play, on the marimba, vibraphone or both. This is the moment to let the jury and the audience hear and see who they are as musicians. After everything they have done to get here, this is the moment that counts.
The jury – Nancy Zeltsman, Peter Prommel, Nozomi Hiwatashi and Yi-Ping Yang – will announce the winners later that same evening.
