What is Plotsklaps?
Plotsklaps is a multidisciplinary evening of language. Packed with sharp witticisms, corny puns, and musical and visual surprises. This time, it features a cracking line-up of local heroes and brilliant artists from across the country that you absolutely mustn’t miss!
In addition to a number of established and up-and-coming names from Eindhoven—such as former city poet Arnoud Rigter with his “poetica obscura” and Sarah Egbe, the youngest of the Junior City Poets finalists—Hondenbeksjef will liven up the evening with his “trash can blues” and “jazz from the gutter.”
We have Femme van den Berg from Tilburg, who just released her book Dag voor Dag voor Dag; former Weert City Poet and slam poetry powerhouse Salma Me Ali; and Wil Lemaire from Gelderland, who will have us in stitches. As usual, the evening will be hosted by the charming and always warm Sanne Prevoo.
In short: a delightful feast of sound, image and language, in the broadest sense of the word.

Natemah Open Mic
Natemah Storytelling is an open-mic evening where stories, comedy, music and poetry come together. Experienced performers and emerging artists share their work with an international audience. With an open stage, everyone has the chance to tell a story, try something out or share something in an accessible and welcoming environment.
Open Eindje: open mic for cabaret and comedy
Monthly sketch café
Artists of all levels gather monthly, alternating between Thursdays and Saturdays, at Café C to sketch, learn, and meet each other.

Are you a keen scrapbooker, or do you prefer junk journals? Come along to the Scrap Lab at CKE! It’s for anyone who, like our tutor Hella, loves collecting pictures, beautiful magazines and packaging materials, and is looking for inspiration.
