The Blue Tree Project Eindhoven: join us and help paint!

On Saturday, October 10, we’ll be working together on a special work of art in the Genderpark: the Eindhoven Blue Tree. Everyone is welcome to help paint this special tree blue and raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention among young people. The tree—a felled maple from the De Wielewaal Estate—will take on new meaning as a permanent gathering place and symbol of hope. The color blue represents connection, remembrance, and making mental health a topic of open discussion.

During the workshop, you can contribute in two ways:

Painting the tree blue
Under the guidance of the organizers, we’ll work together to paint the tree that’s already set up at its future location in Genderpark.

Create a personal leaf for the tree
Artist Tijs Rooijakkers will lead a creative workshop where you’ll make a wooden or paper leaf. Write a wish, a thought, a message, or draw a picture. These leaves will later be added to the tree and the benches surrounding it.
