“I volunteer at Café C at CKE.”
Why CKE in particular?
“I like being in a place where art and culture take center stage. So many beautiful things are created here, and it inspires me to be part of that. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction and connection.”
When do you go home feeling good after a day’s work?
“When people go home with a smile, inspired or satisfied after a bite to eat and a drink.”
What is your connection to art and culture?
“I have been actively involved in art for over twenty years. I took classes at art school and with various artists, play the harp, and have been writing poetry for years.”
Are you also involved in art and culture in your spare time?
“I volunteer at several museums and enjoy reading art magazines. I also occasionally listen to a podcast or pick up an art book from my bookshelf as a reference. When I have the time and inspiration, I paint. And I enjoy relaxing and listening to music, from pop to classical, or just instruments without cables.”
