Art Route All for Love
The neighbourhoods of Kronehoef, Rapenland and Mensfort in Eindhoven paid tribute to love, creativity and togetherness with the art trail ‘Alles voor de Liefde’ (All for Love).

- Date
This unique event presented seven love stories from the area, transformed into beautiful artworks and activities. As the sun shone, the streets and squares of the district filled with inspiration and affection.
An ode to neighbour grandpa Jan with elephants
A striking artwork along the route was the herd of elephants presented by AlmarOntwerpt. This piece, symbolising the strength of the community, was also a tribute to ‘neighbour grandpa’ Jan, who has spent his life collecting elephant figurines and tirelessly dedicating himself to Kronehoef.
Princess the cat podcast: a story of connection
A special artwork that could be both experienced in person and listened to online was the podcast Princess de Poes. Sound artist Julia van der Pas spoke with local resident Ingrid, who shared her story about her neighbour Jahangir, a refugee from Iran, and his cat Princess. Princess brought Ingrid and Jahangir together, creating a special bond between them. Told from Princess’s perspective, the podcast is a touching tribute to the connection between neighbours and their pets.
Tears of emotion
In the middle of a grassy field stood a small bench where visitors were serenaded by Tessa Berckelmans and Anouk Scheepens. They performed beautiful songs inspired by the stories from the documentary Alles voor de Liefde. The emotional power of the music even moved some visitors to tears. “Let it come, let it flow,” one of the singers encouraged, and the emotions flowed freely.
Eindjesloos: a symbol of infinite love
Eindjesloos is an artwork consisting of an endless garland made of fabric scraps, tied together on the spot by visitors from various Eindhoven neighbourhoods. This has previously taken place in the Kruisstraat and in Philipsdorp. Just like love itself, Eindjesloos has no end. Over the coming year, it will appear in different parts of the city, brightening the streets and reminding everyone of the unbreakable power of love and the city’s diversity.
Festival hearts: vibrant centres of creativity
Community centres De Werf (Mensfort) and Het Hof (Kronehoef) were transformed into lively festival hubs, buzzing with live music, visual artworks, face painting, the crafting of power sticks, information stalls, market stands, and delicious food and drinks. Along the route between the two festival hearts, there was plenty to experience, including various artworks, a VR game called Femina Forte, theatre performances, and an “I love” graffiti workshop.
