Mural on CKE building completed
Have you spotted it yet? The beautiful mural on the CKE building. It was unveiled yesterday by Fresku.

CKE is participating in the Music & Murals project. The mural was created by Studio Giftig and is inspired by a song from Fresku’s newly released album In de Lucht.
Art and music inspire each other in countless ways. Leonardo da Vinci, for example, had musicians play while he painted the Mona Lisa. Mondrian drew inspiration from jazz for his work Boogie Woogie. The artist duo Studio Giftig therefore started the Music & Murals project.
In various cities, they create murals inspired by a song from a local artist. In Eindhoven, the choice fell on Fresku. The mural has been painted on the wall of CKE facing the Kruisstraattunnel.
“The song being depicted fits both CKE and this city. We are all in motion, and in that, the process is even more important than the result,” says Karin Visser, director of CKE. The Municipality of Eindhoven sees this project as an enrichment for Oud-Woensel. “The municipality supports projects like Music & Murals because public spaces are used to showcase creativity and, in doing so, inspire people.”
