House Rules and Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct CKE and Café C

The code of conduct is based on respect, equality, and a customer- and experience-oriented approach. At CKE, we believe it’s important that employees, clients, and partners can pursue their goals in ways that suit them. We aim for mutual understanding and respect in the choices we make—not only in the relationship between staff and customers, but also among colleagues and other collaborators.

Objectives of the Code of Conduct

  • Create a socially safe and creative working environment for CKE employees.
  • Create a socially safe and creative environment for customers and other stakeholders.
  • Prevent and address undesirable behavior (such as bullying, aggression/violence, discrimination, harassment/stalking, and (sexual) intimidation).
  • Encourage integrity.
  • Safeguard and maintain CKE’s positive image.
  • Ensure good employment practices.

CKE House Rules – Including Café C

  • By entering the CKE premises, you agree to the following rules. These house rules are in place to ensure and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
  • All instructions given by CKE staff regarding these house rules must be followed immediately.
  • If you break these rules, staff have the right to remove you from the premises. Criminal behavior will always be reported to the police.
  • Café C (our hospitality area) has house rules and fire safety instructions available for inspection. In case of fire: do not panic, alert staff immediately and/or activate the nearest alarm.
  • Security checks and searches may take place at the entrance or at strategic locations. Entry may be refused if you cannot provide valid ID.
  • Sound levels in CKE may exceed 85 dB(A). The organization is not liable for any hearing damage. You enter and stay at your own risk. Take breaks in quieter areas to protect your hearing.
  • These rules apply to the entire premises: building, patio, terrace, and parking areas.

General Rules

  • Presence at CKE is at your own risk.
  • All instructions from CKE staff and security must be followed.
  • Cooperation with ID checks and checks for weapons or drugs is mandatory.
  • Photos may be taken during events or activities at CKE for promotional use. By entering, you agree to this.
  • Found items can be handed in at the bar.
  • Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18.
  • It is prohibited to purchase or offer alcohol to anyone under 18.
  • Smoking is only allowed on the outdoor terrace—not inside the building.
  • CKE is not liable for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
  • Any form of harassment, aggression, racism, or discrimination toward visitors or staff is strictly forbidden.

The Following Is Not Allowed:

  • Bringing dogs or other pets (except assistance dogs).
  • Possessing, using, or trading drugs.
  • Possessing weapons or objects that could be used as weapons.
  • Theft or vandalism.
  • Trading or handling stolen goods.
  • Using or threatening with violence.
  • Verbal abuse or slander.
  • Taking film or photo footage for commercial use without permission from management.

Access May Be Denied If:

  • The maximum number of visitors has been reached.
  • You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • You have previously been denied access to CKE.
  • You refuse to cooperate with security checks or searches.
  • You do not carry valid ID.

In the Event of a Criminal Offense:

  • You may be detained and any relevant items confiscated.
  • You will be handed over to the police.
  • A police report may be filed.

If You Violate the House Rules:

  • You may be removed from the premises and denied further access.
  • In case of trespassing, the police will be called.
  • CKE may claim compensation for any damages caused.

Surveillance

CKE is monitored by security cameras to ensure the safety of all. By entering, you consent to being recorded. In case of emergencies, footage may be shared with authorities.
