General Questions

When are your holidays?

See when we’re closed during holiday periods.

Is there a disabled toilet and is the building wheelchair accessible?

CKE is fully wheelchair accessible (with the exception of two small dance studios). An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of paid parking around the building. The nearest car park is Parking Fellenoord (Pastoor Petersstraat 170).

How can I pay at CKE?

We accept debit card payments only (e.g. for gift cards or coffee). Cash is not accepted.

How do I rent a space at CKE?

Go straight to our venue hire page, or check out all our spaces and rates.

Do you rent out rehearsal spaces?

Yes, we do! Rehearsal spaces are available via a CKE rehearsel pass.

For Course Participants

Can I try a class first?

If a course offers a trial lesson or introductory workshop, you’ll find this mentioned in the course description. [Here] you can read our trial lesson guidelines.

Are there any courses in English?

We’re offering more and more courses in English. View them [here].

Can I take individual music lessons at CKE?

Absolutely. We work with external teachers who teach on-site. Find our duo and group lessons here.

Can I get a discount or financial support for a course?

Yes, in certain cases you may qualify for a discount or financial assistance.

When do I pay for the course?

We only send the invoice once the course has started. The course fee will then be collected from your account either in one payment or in instalments. The trial lesson is also paid by direct debit.

How do I cancel a course?

If you can’t attend, please email both your teacher and cursusadministratie@cke.nl.

Can I withdraw from a course or workshop partway through?

Not for courses of 14 lessons or fewer. For courses with 15 or more lessons, you can cancel by emailing cursusadministratie@cke.nl. A four-lesson notice period applies. After cancellation, you’ll receive an email from us explaining how the course fee will be adjusted based on what’s already been paid.

What will change from the 2025–2026 course year?

From next year, whether you are a beginner, developing or (very) advanced, you will be able to explore your creativity even more and it will be easier to develop yourself. We will be working with four teaching blocks, meaning there will be four start moments during the year. This new structure makes it easier to progress within CKE.

Courses will last 8, 16 or 32 weeks (in addition to workshops of 1–4 lessons) and will conclude with a performance or presentation during a Bruisweekend or De Ontdekking. This is great, because you won’t just be creating beautiful work — you’ll also get to present it to the whole of Eindhoven.

Have you taken a course with us before? If so, your course may now have fewer or more lessons and therefore a different price. It is also possible that a course has a different name; courses for beginners, advanced and very advanced participants now share the same name so that the level is immediately clear. From now on, we use the name Werkplaats for all courses aimed at very advanced talent. Studio (Atelier) courses can be seen as a creative ‘taster placement’, where you get broad exposure to visual arts, digital media and fine art.

In the autumn, the courses that start later in the year will be published online.
