Heart Hunters
Love for the city, love for the neighbourhood. It’s something we all – hopefully – feel. And perhaps during the Corona period more than ever. That’s why CKE, as secret Heart Hunters, took to the streets during that time at all hours (though of course outside of curfew) to surprise residents with a guerrilla love offensive.

Waking up to hearts on your window
Hearts on windows, hearts in the snow, sweet poems on the pavement. Made from reusable plastic and temporary chalk spray. It was pretty exciting, heading out into the night with spray cans and stickers to secretly spread a little joy. But the reactions on social media were, well, truly heart-warming!
Because what a surprise it was in the morning. Do I have a secret admirer? Who’s behind this and why? What did I do to deserve this? The answer is simple: You make our city and your neighbourhood a little more beautiful!
The plan for this action was hatched in collaboration with several community organisations. The poems were written by author Monique Neijendorf, and the project was made possible in part by the Buurtfonds Woonbedrijf.
