Support for you as a local resident, community center, or neighborhood

Want to make your neighborhood more beautiful, creative, or livable? Let us help you. It all starts with a friendly conversation. Over a cup of coffee, we’ll talk through your ideas and explore how creativity can help bring them to life. Sometimes, all it takes is a little push in the right direction.

Success through collaboration

No question or idea is too small—or too big. Maybe you want to organize a simple arts & crafts or face painting afternoon in your square. Or maybe you dream of something more ambitious—a neighborhood festival, or even a circus! Either way, we’ve got what it takes to help make it happen: creative ideas, solid plans, and the right people (artists, designers, teachers, and makers).

Funding your idea

Great ideas often need funding. We’ll support you there too. You might apply for a grant from the City of Eindhoven, the Oranjefonds, or the Woonbedrijf Neighborhood Fund. But there are a lot more possibilities. We can walk through the application process together or show you all the funding options available.

Where to start?

Got an idea for your neighborhood? If you live in a Woonbedrijf home or apartment, you can start your application directly via the Woonbedrijf Neighborhood Fund website. In other cases, we’ll help you get started. Fill out our form as completely as you can. We’ll get back to you within two weeks to schedule a meeting.

The Vivaldi Garden is growing and so is the neighbourhood

Want to bring positive change in a simple, low-barrier way? That’s what Ben from Gestel aimed for—a connected and sustainable community. Together with the project De Gezonde Stad, the City of Eindhoven, Woonbedrijf, and WIJeindhoven, that dream became reality. Residents created a butterfly garden, a campfire area, and a mini food forest. In winter? They threw the first “Boerenkoolfuif" (kale party)! A true celebration of a blooming community.

Sharing more than just things in Eckart

Happiness grows when you share it. That’s the idea behind the Eckart Sharing Cabinet. What began as a small idea quickly became much more: because facilities and activities can also be shared. Supported by Wooninc, Woonbedrijf, the City of Eindhoven, and CKE, the project brought residents of all ages together. Designer Almar Sinte Maartensdijk created the cabinet with them, along with wayfinding signs to local gems like the jeu de boules court, Huiskamer Vaartbroek, and the Andromeda Youth Center. Need a ball or racket? Borrow sports gear from the Cees van Liendenflat and get moving on the nearby field. Or drop in for a coffee and a chat.

The elephant herd of Woensel

This art project is a tribute to the unsung heroes of Kronehoef, Mensfort, and Rapenland. These special residents are honored with elephant sculptures placed at meaningful spots in the neighborhood. The first elephant went to Grandpa Jan, a proud collector of elephants and a beloved community figure. The growing herd symbolizes the strength and connection of Woensel.
