Adventure, Wonder, and Emotion
Theater connects people, because theater is made together! Are you ready to explore adventure, wonder, emotion, or a magical story? At our theater school in Eindhoven, countless treasures are waiting to be discovered. During our drama classes, you’ll learn the art of acting and creating theater. Whether you are young or old, a beginner or experienced, there is a challenging course for everyone. In every theater course, you will practice improvisation, stepping into a role, and performing in front of an audience. The latter can also help you gain confidence and presence in everyday life—a true win-win!
At CKE, we offer a wide range of high-quality drama classes in Eindhoven. Many of these classes provide the opportunity to get acquainted with the theater profession, explore your interests, or deepen your skills in acting and theater-making. The theater instructors at CKE form a strong team that has collaborated for many years, producing numerous performances. In recent years, productions such as ‘De Club van de Lelijke Kinderen’ and ‘Erik of het klein insectenboek’ have been staged.

CKE has a venue with theatre halls and other facilities for its students. The theatre teachers at CKE are professionally trained at art schools and have extensive experience. CKE provides a safe learning environment in a pleasant location that is easily accessible thanks to its central position in Eindhoven. In addition, CKE collaborates with various partners.

Theatre classes for children, young people and adults
Acting knows no age limit. That’s why children in primary school can also sign up for our theatre school in Eindhoven. During these accessible and playful acting lessons, children are introduced to different ways of performing. Their creativity is stimulated, imagination is developed, and teamwork is encouraged. Every drama class is a celebration! Acting lessons for children also help to build assertiveness and confidence. Take a look at our acting classes for children. There are also theatre lessons especially for young people, and this season we’re offering new theatre productions for both children and teenagers. Time to take to the stage again!
Adults are also very welcome to discover or further develop their theatrical talent. We offer short theatre courses for both beginners and experienced actors. During these lessons, you’ll learn how to appear confident and convincing on stage, while also sparking your imagination and creativity. In short, you’ll be challenged to bring out the best in yourself! Alongside acting classes for adults, we also offer a directing course for those who want to learn more about stage direction. And adults, too, can take to the stage again — in our theatre productions you’ll work under direction towards a public performance.
Long-term group courses
Our long-term theatre courses consist of at least 15 and up to 38 weeks of lessons. You can enrol in a full-year course or join mid-season. During the course year, there are two “Bruis Weekends,” where you’ll work together with your teacher and fellow students on performances, crossovers, and other creative projects. In addition, there are short courses (up to 14 lessons) and workshops (1 lesson). Short courses have several starting dates throughout the year. Grow your theatre talent
Are you between 14 and 20 years old and eager to further develop your theatre talent? Do you want to take your growth to the next level? You can! In this Talent Programme, your personal development and passion take centre stage. It gives you the opportunity to build the skills needed for admission to a theatre academy. Under the guidance of professional theatre teachers, you’ll take to the stage each week alongside like-minded young people. The artistic growth, experience and knowledge you gain during the Talent Programme will benefit you throughout your further studies.
