From Idea to Story – Discover Creative Writing
Creative writing starts with an idea or a question. It can be something that comes to mind from a conversation you overhear, a photo you see, a newspaper headline you read, or a scent that greets you when you enter a room.
But what do you do with that inspiration? How do you get the most out of your material? How do you find an original angle, a structure that enhances the content? How can your words create a movie in someone else’s mind? And how do you discover the effect your text has on your readers? All of this is explored in our courses for learning to write, suitable for both beginners and advanced writers.

Children and Teenagers
Do you have a great story in your head and want to put it on paper? Can you come up with the most fantastic ideas? Use your rich imagination and take a creative writing course for children in Eindhoven! Together, we explore how to tell stories in a way that makes them come alive for everyone.
You’re probably at secondary school, enjoy reading, and maybe even more than that, enjoy writing yourself. Whether it’s writing long or short stories, where can you show your talent? In this writing course, you’ll join peers to express the creativity you can’t always show in your Dutch assignments! Over a few weeks, we explore together how to tell stories so that the reader can vividly imagine them. Which details are important? What is perspective? What effect does writing a story in the present tense have?
Adults
Do you enjoy working with language and want to find ways to express yourself effectively in text? Through a variety of exercises, both in class and at home, we explore how your story works for readers. You will encounter different forms and styles, tailored to the interests and development of the group. For adults, we offer creative writing courses at both basic and advanced levels.
