Do you love to sing and would you like to do it with others? In this singing course, you’ll work on your voice, musicality, performance, and self-confidence—all while having a lot of fun with music!

You’ll discover how to use your voice in a healthy and free way, how to sing in tight harmony and in sync with others, and how to listen to each other effectively. You’ll also work on stage presence and performance: how do you stand on stage and how do you convey a song? We’ll cover that too.

The lessons start with a short warm-up and then quickly move on to singing well-known pop and musical numbers that we choose (partly) together as a group. We build songs step by step. We progress from singing together to harmonizing, and we combine this with movement and stage presence. Together, you’ll work toward a real performance during De Ontdekking, where you’ll showcase what you’ve learned as a group. This way, you’ll also experience what it’s like to be on stage together.

What makes this course special is that vocal technique, ensemble singing, and performance come together in a single lesson. Young people work on their voices and learn to collaborate in a vocal group.
