Theatre course for experienced adults
In this course for intermediate and advanced performers and creators, you’ll learn how to collaborate in a collective setting. Together with your fellow students, you’ll take on the challenge of creating a 40-minute performance semi-independently, which will be presented during De Ontdekking.
During this course, you’ll be both a performer and a creator. Writing a concept, testing it out on the floor, refining it, creating it, directing it: you’ll do it with the group, under the guidance of an instructor. The instructor will be present once every two weeks to support the group throughout the process.
Together with your group members, you decide how to utilize the instructor’s presence: would you prefer a dramaturg to observe and guide you? Or would you rather have the instructor take on the final direction? Anything is possible and everything is allowed! This course is for intermediate to advanced creators.
