Do you want to step out of your comfort zone, learn to improvise through theater, and are you looking for a dynamic course where you’ll learn a lot and have plenty of laughs? Then this course (for beginners and those with theater experience) is for you.
Theater sports is a form of improvisational theater in which two teams take turns improvising different scenes in a competitive format. The competitive element, spontaneity, variety, and teamwork—it’s all part of this course. You’ll complete various exercises and games, leading to hilarious and captivating improvisations.
During the classes, you’ll tackle a wide range of theater sports and improvisation exercises and learn how to play a theater sports match. Improvising, acting for the sheer joy of it, following impulses, making associations—you’ll learn it all.
In consultation with the group, you’ll participate in a theater sports match during the final class. This is by no means mandatory, so if that feels too soon for you, you can be a judge, host, or part of the audience.
