Advanced course drawing & painting: portraits and models
In this advanced course, you challenge yourself in expression and figure drawing. You will work with different materials (paint and charcoal) and techniques, learning to observe form, proportion, and light. There is a strong focus on depth: how do you give a face character? How do you create a sense of space? Which details make a difference?
The lessons, including two sessions with a live model, consist of practical exercises and moments of reflection. The teacher supports you with feedback and guidance on your artistic development. You will work towards a final piece, which you will present during the Bruis weekend. This is an excellent course for anyone with some experience who wants to continue growing.
Practical information
- Wear old clothes or bring an apron.
- In this course, you work with a live model twice, so the price differs from courses without a model.
- Language: Dutch and English.
