Advanced course: creating a theatre production
Have you mastered the basics of theatre and are you ready to really take your skills to the next level? In this advanced course, we’ll work together to create a full-length production. Under the guidance of a theatre instructor, you and your group will create your own story—from the first scene to the final curtain call. This is more than just playing a stereotype: you’ll learn how to develop a character with a clear motivation. What does your character want to achieve, and why? This leads to believable and compelling performances.
Everyone contributes to the storyline and the characters. The teacher guides this creative process and ensures that everyone’s ideas are incorporated, so that everyone can shine in their own way.
