In this advanced theater course, you’ll evolve from performer to creator. Now that you know how to command the stage and have discovered the joy of acting, we’ll take it a step further by creating a performance entirely of your own making. It will be born from your own ideas, improvisations, and everything that’s on your minds.
You’ll use your acting experience to take your performance to the next level. You’re not just an actor, but also a creator: you’ll learn how to turn ideas into powerful scenes and actively contribute to the form and content. We’ll dive deeper into characters and explore how your voice and body work together to create a believable, powerful performance. We’ll also work on ensemble acting and building tension, so that individual scenes come together to form a single, compelling story. You’ll learn to trust your fellow actors completely and how to react to each other in the blink of an eye.
