This course begins with an introductory session, during which you will introduce yourself using your portfolio. You will be sent details of what this should include by email upon registration. During this first session, you will gain a clear understanding of the course content and approach. We will then work in themed blocks. Each theme begins with a masterclass, followed by an assignment and a lesson in which we discuss the work together. The themes will remain a surprise for now, but they are challenging, creative and technical, and together form the basis of your portfolio.
In between, there will be inspiring Saturday outings and studio sessions. You will post your photos on Padlet, where you can also find the course material and homework.
This way, you’ll finish with a strong portfolio and a solid foundation to continue with photography. The lessons take place at CKE and at external locations.
