Would you like to be part of a real cast and work together toward a spectacular performance? In this course, we’ll create a unique musical production together. There’s no set script: using familiar and new musical numbers, along with scenes we create ourselves, we’ll weave a single, continuous story.
You’ll get to work under the guidance of three professional instructors for singing, acting, and dance.
For singing, we’ll select the songs we’ll use to tell the story. You’ll learn not only how to sing the songs, but especially how to do so from your character’s perspective. Of course, there’s acting to be done between those songs: we’ll rehearse scenes and bring your character to life. And no musical performance is complete without dance. We’ll learn various choreographies that fit the songs. You’ll learn to dance as an ensemble and create a single powerful image together.
After 18 weeks of rehearsals, the moment has arrived. We’ll swap the rehearsal space for the stage during De Ontdekking. There, you’ll show what you’ve learned and bring the performance to life!
