In this course, you’ll work toward creating your own musical performance. You’ll form a close-knit cast and collaborate to build a unique production. There is no set script, but rather a dynamic montage of musical numbers and scenes that come together to form a single, flowing narrative.
Under the guidance of three subject specialists, you’ll move rapidly from rehearsal to performance. In singing and acting, you’ll delve into character interpretation. How do you not only hit the right notes, but also tell your character’s story? How do you make your performance believable within a scene? In dance and movement, you’ll learn various choreographies and discover how to perform them powerfully as an ensemble.
As the performance draws nearer, the instructors and disciplines increasingly blend together. We connect the separate fragments, create transitions, and put the finishing touches on the production. The highlight is a performance during De Ontdekking.
