Are you interested in exploring musical theater, or are you eager to get back on stage? In this course, singing, dancing, and acting come together in an energetic and inspiring program. You’ll work at your own level under the guidance of three specialized instructors, each with their own area of expertise. Each class covers two disciplines. The instructors rotate regularly, so you learn a little of everything and gradually expand your skills.
In singing, you’ll discover the power of the ensemble. We’ll work on harmonies to capture that authentic musical sound. You’ll also learn to deliver a song’s lyrics in a way that has the audience hanging on your every word! In acting, you’ll discover how to build a character and how to react to your fellow performers. You’ll find joy in performing in a safe environment. We’ll also work on various choreographies. You’ll train your coordination while we learn as an ensemble to create a single powerful image set to the music.
At the end of the course, you’ll invite friends and family to a fun open class, where you’ll show how singing, dancing, and acting come together in a joyful performance.
