Would you like to learn to act, deepen your acting skills, or discover what theater can mean to you? In this versatile course, you’ll be introduced to the basics of theater and develop a love of acting, creativity, and self-confidence. Over the course of 18 lessons, you’ll work on four key areas.
In elementary acting, you’ll discover your acting drive and learn to use your body, voice, and expression convincingly. In improvisation, you’ll practice responding to impulses, ensemble work, humor, and embracing the unexpected. During scripted theater, you’ll bring written scenes to life and give characters depth and character. You’ll also create your own scenes using everything you’ve learned.
Under the guidance of the instructor, you’ll grow both technically and personally. An energetic course full of action, acting, and fun.
