This course begins with a fun introductory lesson: a brief “speed date” with your camera. Through a series of short exercises, you’ll immediately get acquainted with the most important features. In the following 8 lessons, you’ll delve step by step into the fundamentals of photography.
You’ll learn how to work with focus, light metering, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition, and the difference between automatic and semi-automatic modes. This will give you more and more control over your camera and your photos.
During the lessons, you’ll practice with fun and practical assignments, supported by in-class presentations and occasional on-location assignments. At home, you’ll work on inspiring practice assignments, which you’ll share via Padlet and discuss together. You’ll finish with a beautiful photo series and a solid foundation to continue photographing on your own.
