You’ll discover how to build an image using lines, shapes, and layers. Screen printing is a labor-intensive technique involving many steps, but that’s precisely what makes it exciting and full of surprises. You’ll work from a detailed plan, but you can also react intuitively to what emerges from beneath your screen. Through the various assignments, you’ll gain increasing mastery of the technique. Throughout the process, we’ll discuss your progress together. The atmosphere in the course is open and exploratory. By the end of this module, you’ll have a solid foundation and be able to continue on your own.
